ROAD TO A thriving community• Title: ROAD TO A thriving community
• Project category: social responsibility

The human is a created being, bearing values that are guided by values, is itself a value. Values are product of the mind and human activity, but the social experience, too.

The individual is not in front of a single value, but a real world values, historically constituted. Some have a general human life, others may be related to social contexts and go along with them. Today we face a large number of deals and value brought by different courts pseudo (media, government agencies, society, NGOs etc.). Plurality of offers produce disorientation, relativism, moral subjectivism. If at other times was unique and reference values imposed by the Authority (parents, teachers, church, state), today must choose for themselves because there freedom of choice. This forces you to be more critical, more responsible, more independent. What do we mean by value? The value is that normative principle, purpose, design, perspective regulating behavior in any time and situation; it is what makes us feel loved, appreciated, useful, which helps us find meaning in life.

Values acquires significance since our experiences and respond to needs. They do not act directly, but through attitudes. Attitude is the product value. For example, the value of respect is part of my values when it is a principle that guides my behavior and mind. This value will be the result of the experience. You can choose that value finding a situation of injustice and intolerance or confirming that enriches essentially attributable to members of a group working together. According to experts, there are eight universal values: life, health, freedom, equality, justice, solidarity, tolerance, respect, peace, responsibility.

In the literature, psychologists and sociologists found that educate community spirit in the social context, focusing on the situation of the person in relation to which group they belong, according to place of residence, interests, concerns, profession etc., when it feels the need for interaction, support for achieving common goals. Thus, he who possesses or acting in solidarity with other community spirit tends to be with them, has the feeling of belonging to the community, says climate to encourage members favoring mutual influence of individual-environment; is responsible and cares about what is happening in his town. The concept of spirit comuniar proposed by American psychologist Sarason, defines the necessity of helping others, regarded as personality trait. In this regard, developing community support programmatic practices of its members, stimulating a sense of belonging to a community, responsibility, faith in its prosperity.

Terms like the majority, not the minority must have a pejorative sense, should not be a weapon in our hands, we should not take the burden on each other's identity should not be "mono" but must be "inter" should not be "I and the other" but "I together with the other".
The ability to receive and give should be shared from the earliest age in order to reach the desired goal achievement, namely the concept of universal culture where every regain national character and to enjoy it without fear of being judged or ignored.

The project was developed in the context of new education as a pedagogical response to an urgent necessity of contemporaneity: training young people in community spirit. It is considered as a postmodern educational approach with distinctive features on the one hand, and with obvious interdisciplinary relationships with most school subjects.

Thus, inter-county education projects, aims to familiarize students with the concept of community-local recipients, motivation and active participation in its development, learning democratic values.
