This cultural and festive program allows you to discover all year long high level young francophone creators and artists through an offer elaborated especially for Cluj European Youth Capital 2015.
CHANTS SONS SUR SCENE
The Chants, sons sur scène competition is an international festival of French language songs for youngsters aged between 13 and 25.
The competitors sing covers of modern French songs (after the year 2000), from all styles of music: Rnb, Pop, Rock, Rap, Reggae, with covers of Stromae (Belgium), Tiken Jah Fakoly (The Ivory Coast Bob Marley),-M-, ZAZ ("Je veux"), Guillaume Grand ("Toi et moi"), Oldelaf ("Le café")…
The final phase is held each year in the second weekend of May in the Baia Mare Municipal Theater, with local phases held in Cluj and in other 10 departments in Romania in March and April. The festival attracts around 350 participants every year.
The winner of the "Talents acoustic" competition, organized by the French TV station TV5, closes the festival with a festive concert.
