Meant as a brick in Cluj’s newest cultural wall of contemporary art, this exhibition is meant to set up bridges between young professionals from different cultural zones, connected by the contemporaneity they live in. Having in mind the recent political changes in the country, and the global era of post-consumerism, the exhibition is intended as a dialogue between contemporaries living different contexts simultaneously. Vienna as a cluster for young artists from different backgrounds, sharing the context of the city, dispensing part of its artistic production with the city of Cluj, which is also a ‘cluster’ for Romanian country as one of the few artistic centers. Proposing a discourse, which does not emphasize on the differences, but rather on the problems that each context involves, where artistic practice is seen not only as art for art’s sake, but also which involves itself socially, trying to make a change.
