Nestlé supports Cluj-Napoca 2015 European Youth Capital
10th September 2014 – Nestle Romania is going to show their support for The European Youth Capital Cluj-Napoca 2015, through their program “Nestlé Needs YOUth”, launched on 15th November 2013, program which aims to help youngsters starting their career. The program is going to help promote the title Cluj-Napoca earned.
Cluj-Napoca one of the main universities centers in Romania, will become in 2015 The European Youth Capital, raising awarness on the role that the new generation will have in the development of society. Hence “Nestlé Needs YOUth” program is being launched this autumn offering youngsters different opportunities in creating a new successful career path.
Through a series of events and activities meant to magnify the essential role that youngsters have regarding the development of the European economy, Nestle Romania is going to have an open dialogue with both fresh graduates and anyone interested in finding more about a succesful career. The youngsters will have the opportunity to attend different workshops regarding career orienting courses, they will have guidelines in creating a CV and have the option to attend events with special guests.

Through it’s “Nestlé Needs YOUth” programme, Nestle Romania wants to attract new talents and focus on their personal development in an european context which pursues active involvement among the new generation in cultural, social, political and economical local development.

Cluj-Napoca has earned the title of European Youth Capital 2015 after a international contest held annually by the European youth forum, the most representative youth structure at a European level. The initiative was started by the youth , from youth NGO’s that worked together in order to write the candidacy, which after formed the Cluj-Napoca SHARE Federation. So, the title of European youth capital arrived for the first time in Romania, in Transylvania, and for the next 365 days Cluj-Napoca will be the only city in Europe which will benefit from this award.
The Municipality of Cluj has gawarded the responsibility of implementing the Youth@Cluj-Napoca 2015 project to the SHARE Federation. The SHARE Federation has 32 NGO’s as its members, youth NGO’s or NGO’s with a powerful component oriented towards the development of youth in Romania. The objective of the Cluj-Napoca SHARE Federation is to contribute to the development of the youth sector and to promote the municipality of Cluj-Napoca through the European Youth Capital project, at a local, regional, national and international level.
