The main objective of Volunteers Academy is to create a volunteering network of the youth that ant to get involved in the implementation process of the program Yout@Cluj-Napoca 2015 European Youth Capital. Our long-term objective is that once this network has been established and strengthened we can include the activities of these young volunteers in the projects, activities and bigger volunteering networks in Romania; also, we aim to establish partnerships with other youth organizations both from our country and from Europe.

The project has as an objective the sentimental stimulation of European citizenship appurtenance of the youth and it helps them understand their role as an integrated part of present and future Europe. The program of volunteer education is based on a model of competences and a model of interest zones for the volunteers involved in the program. The program wants to attract volunteers that have both potential and abilities of developing their competences specific for each stage of the program.
The aim of the project is to undergo 12 events of community involvement in simple activities that transmit general messages and that contribute to the feeling of belonging to Cluj-Napoca. The project will take place within the program Youth@Cluj-Napoca 2015 (European Youth Capital) on every 15th day of the month in the year 2015.

The strategic objective of the project is to involve over 200.000 persons(out of which 50.000 singular persons) in different actions that have a positive message through 12 events of active public participation. By doing so the inhabitants of Cluj will become more interested and more involved in the local community, in the environment they are living in.
This project promotes the concept of volunteer work. Even though not explicitly, the main idea of the project is not about EVS, but about the implementation method and about the beneficiaries of the project that are closely related to the idea of volunteer work. The adaptation of the 36 principles of social responsibility for the good functioning of the 2015 capital will occur with the implication of volunteers, even more, a set of these principles is explicitly linked to the idea of volunteer work and so it will be used for a most efficient implication of the 2015 volunteers.

The aim of the project is the development of the criteria and measurement application methods of SHARE European and SHARE Responsibly for the partner organizations and the projects implemented by these in the context of the 2015 European Youth Capital.
