Cluj International Airport in partnership with Cluj County Council, Cluj-Napoca City Hall and Chamber of Commerce and Industry Cluj launches the project "Fly & Share Cluj".
Cluj-Napoca, 15.06.2015 – Cluj "Avram Iancu" International Airport launches today the "Fly & Share Cluj" project, which aims to promote Cluj region and share to all those who choose as point of departure or arrival Cluj International Airport, the cultural and tourist attractions in the area, but also to share the economic and business potential offered by the region.
The project also aims to embrace the development expansion of the airport route network by creating new international collaborations with the states which are to be celebrated in the campaign. The project is a part of the actions under the Cluj-Napoca - European Youth Capital 2015 program.
The "Fly & Share Cluj" project will take place over several months and will mark the national days of several countries. Therefore, the campaign slogan will vary depending on the country that will be celebrated from Fly & Share Cluj - Hilsen Denmark! to ¡Hola, Spain! or Bonjour, France !. The project starts with Denmark, country which celebrates today, 15 June, the Danish Flag Day.
The campaign will include promotional items at the airport on social networks (Facebook, Twitter) and as well on the website of the airport and of its partners, designed to make known its actions. Also, a dedicated website and mobile application will be launched in the following period in order to make the information about this project as accessible as possible in the online enviroment. Passengers traveling to the 30 foreign destinations will have the opportunity to explore the contents of the photo and audio presentations from the exhibition stand dedicated to this project.
The campaign supports the route network’s expansion and development while the airport's marketing efforts target the identification of unexploied market potential, in the context of Cluj International Airport being the second largest airport in Romania. Currently, from the airport are there operated 23 scheduled destinations and 9 tourist charter flights to 15 destination countries.
